During 23-29 of October in Batumi was held The 3rd International Film Festival. During the festival, there was presented 55 films, from 21 countries (Poland, Germany, France and etc.).

Organizers of this festival are Batumi City Mayor and Batumi Art House "Argani". This festival film screenings was going on at cinemas: "Tbilisi" and "International".

Head of festival jury - Mr.Pawel Pawlikowski (UK). During the festival was presented the retrospectives of films of well known Polish film director Mr. KRZYSZTOF KIEŚLOWSKI (by the support of Institute of Adama Mitsiewicza) and French Film director Eric Rohmer (by support of A.Diuma Center in Tbilisi / French Embassy in Georgia).

The opening of festivals was film "KATYN"(director Andrzej Wajda) and closed the film of Emil Kusturitca "Promise Me".
